Daily (“the app”) is a personal expense tracker. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Account data
When you sign in with email or Google we store your account identifier, email address, and optional display name so you can access your own expenses.
Expense and money data
Expenses, categories, budgets, recurring schedules, split groups, shared books, settlements, and export files you create are stored in your account. Money is stored as integer paise. Your personal ledger is private to you via row-level security.
Receipt photos
If you attach a receipt photo, the image is stored in private cloud storage tied to your account. Photos are for your reference only; we do not run OCR or sell image data.
Diagnostics
If crash reporting is enabled, we may receive technical crash logs (device type, OS version, stack traces) through Sentry to fix bugs. We do not sell this data.
Splits and shared books
When you join a split group or shared book, other members of that group or book can see the shared rows for that space — not your full personal ledger (unless you opt to sync your split share into personal spending).
Third parties
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Google — optional Google sign-in
- Sentry — optional crash reporting
- Apple / Google — app distribution
Retention and deletion
You can sign out at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email support@links.dailyexpense.app.
